- At the time of establishment there were sixteen members. Later the number rapidly increased. By establishing the brass band the number doubled.
- Now there are thirty operative members and ten moreat the dislocated unit.
There are three groups by ten young people working regularly as new blood for acquiring operative members.
There is a well preserved membership book from 1883 and it one of the rare such books in the country.
- Now there are eighty-three members. Forty of them are operative, others are in reserve and veterans. There are also sixteen women.

The Brigade carries out their training with all their groups. In October, the month of fire safety, it also carries out probational and representative trainings with their own groups and groups of other brigades.
Especially the operative part of the Brigade regularly cooperates with Krško Professional Fire Unit and represents the first reserve on interventions.
The Brigade annually goes to twenty interventions to fires in residential, farm and other buildings and to fires in the natural environment.
Almost the same number of interventions the Brigade performs by offering help at natural and other disasters or problems of the people.
For the purpose of regular education there is a big classroom with ninety seats and all up-to-date teaching equipment.
The Brigade supplies the hilly area with drinking water in dry spells (cca 1,500 m3/year).
It also carries out 260 preventive examinations of residential and farm buildings.
It invites applications and carries out traditional competitions of groups of young people from different brigades for the cup of the Brigade.
Internationally, the Brigade has contacts with the Fire Brigades from Obrigheim and Ravensburg (Germany).
